Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about creating and sharing virtual art galleries.

What is PocketVR?

PocketVR is a free virtual art gallery creator. Upload your artwork, choose a gallery template, and share a link — anyone can explore your gallery in a browser or walk through it in VR on a Meta Quest headset. No app download, no account, no cost.

How do I create a virtual art gallery?

Click Create a gallery, pick a 3D template, upload your images directly from your device, give your gallery a name, and hit Create. You get a shareable link in seconds. Anyone who opens it can look around in their browser or enter full VR.

Do I need a VR headset?

No. Galleries work in any desktop or mobile browser with mouse and touch controls. If you have a Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, or any WebXR headset, you can step inside for a fully immersive walkthrough — but it's completely optional.

Is it free?

Completely free. No subscriptions, no accounts, no crypto wallets. Upload your art and share the link.

Which headsets are supported?

Any WebXR-compatible headset works — Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest Pro, and others. Open pocketvr.art in the headset browser and tap Enter VR.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. PocketVR is built for artists with no technical background. Pick a template, upload images, and the platform does the rest.

Can museums and institutions use PocketVR?

Absolutely. Museums, galleries, and institutions can create virtual exhibitions that visitors can attend from anywhere in the world — in a browser or in VR. No special software or hardware required on the visitor's end.

Can I share my gallery?

Yes. Every gallery gets its own shareable link. Send it to collectors, post it on social media, or embed it anywhere. Visitors don't need an account or any app to view it.
